Rex Financial Technologies Limited is a Lagos-based fintech infrastructure company building core banking, payments, and credit infrastructure for the next generation of African financial institutions.
Who we are
Infrastructure, not just software.
Our work spans core banking (RexCore), LPO financing (RexCredit), NFC payment infrastructure, and WhatsApp-native AI banking. Each product addresses a concrete gap in how money moves and how credit is decided across African markets.
We build for the realities of Nigerian operations — irregular networks, regulatory complexity, naira economics, and customers who live on WhatsApp. Every architectural decision is shaped by the environment our customers actually operate in, not the one a foreign vendor assumes.
We believe in locally-rooted infrastructure: built in Lagos, accountable in Lagos, supporting institutions that serve African customers. The institutions we partner with should be able to pick up the phone and reach the engineer who shipped the feature.
